Virginia and James Hubbard Professor of Cardiac Surgery at Harvard Medical School's Division of Cardiac Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He is the Former President, American Association of Thoracic Surgeons; Former President, American College of Chest Physicians; and Former President, National Library of Medicine Board of Regents.
